Join us in Glasgow to connect with local creatives, photographers and film photography enthusiasts. Canister Camera Club is a free, informal meet up and is open to all, whether you're a beginner or a pro or just love photography.

Each month we introduce a surprise roll of film, available at cost on the night.

Our guest will be Glasgow-based photographer James WrightAs a Canister regular and supporter from the start, James will be giving us an early preview of his ongoing project Terra Incognita before it reaches an even wider audience upon completion and publication.

Our guest will be Scottish photographer Alan Dimmick. Alan is perhaps best known for his work documenting the contemporary art scene in Scotland, particularly the explosion of creativity in Glasgow during the 90s. For more than 30 years, he has been documenting both the cultural and social history of modern Scotland. Alan joins us to discuss his unique archive and present work from his soon to be published book Photographs 1977-2017.
